BUSINESS AND SPIRITUAL TRANSFORMATION. PART 1

BUSINESS AND SPIRITUAL TRANSFORMATION. PART 1

It feels like just a couple of years ago it was imposible to mention these two notions together. At first sight they seem uncompatible: “business” and “spiritual transformation”. Times are completely different nowadays.

In the times of Middle Ages, these words would probably have sparkled a fire of an Inquisition. Nowadays it seems completely natural to me to put these two notions together and to talk of business, material life and money that play very important role in our life, through the concept of spiritual transformation.

I will get closer to the point now. Humanity has lived many centuries in two worlds that are far away from each other. One of them is known as material world. It is more accessible and comprehensible for each of us. We live in it every day through our mundane domestic duties. There is also a spiritual world that has always been veiled with enigmas, mysteries, fog of mysticism and vague phrases. The Spiritual World had its guardians: The Church, secret occult societies, apparent occult societies…from the Templar Knights and the Sovereign Military Order of Malta to Opus Dei. The guardians were constantly transforming in their essence. That was expressed in the religious schism, the new mystical currents within religions, through libertines such as Martin Luther, Kabbalah or Baha'i. These were the times of a secular turbulence. And yet, there are not much brave people in the history. Spirituality has always been something rather abstract in the perception of people, it was inviolable and discussed only in certain circles and under certain circumstances.

But our worldly sins, worries and difficulties contributed to the water where an ordinary homo sapiens has been "swimming" for hundreds of years. I will not say the word "always", because I do not know anything about the concept of "always" or "never". I do not even know what will happen tomorrow and hardly remember what happened a year ago. We live only here and now. I do not presume to make a global claim of how long ago have we deeply submerged in the material, but I would let myself notice that times have changed dramatically. In the air of our time, it feels like spirituality enters our everyday life quite clearly and straightforwardly. But at the same time it is done without any ambitious claims or showing off. It feels smooth and effortless.

What does it mean for our life? I mean, for the same life that people have always identified with the notion of "ordinary" life: vanity, munday actions, everyday life, pressing needs and their satisfaction, family relationships, tasks at work; we have to walk the dog and wash the car. To cut the long story short, the very same life that people carefully separated from the spiritual part of their existence.

But everything has changed all of a sudden. The event that happened on the planet, can already be felt physically, seen with our eyes, heart with our ears, felt with all the senses and with the sixth one in particular. Spirituality suddenly became a part of ordinary life. I think that this is very good and I think that these are blessed times. This is a new dynamic time, coexisting with a swirl of changes and new human stories that are written around these changes. This is N.E.O.TIME. New time is inherent in new people - N.E.O.PEOPLE. With those who are able to connect the spiritual and material within themselves as naturally as they brush their teeth in the morning. In relevance with all the fore-mentioned, in the 21st century a new perception of business was born.
