To be N.E.O. is to LOVE what you DO and to DO what you LOVE!
- Victoria Contoret
Sometimes when we are occupied with spiritual aspirations, we overlook the main thing. He says: "A person who believes that he has a spiritual life is just an idiot."
Relationship as the place of "heavenly funeral".
To some extent, lots of us have a caricatured idea about the bliss of relationships. Some of us tend to think that they should provide us with constant security and comfort and protect us from the necessity to face rough reality. Sometimes we have a fantasize that if we meet the right person, it will save us from having to deal with loneliness, disappointment, despair, horror or decay.
Sharing life with the one we love, with all its joys and sorrows is one of the best paths of spiritual growth. Still, the true awakening happens only when we are ready to face all our wounds, fears and illusions and to work on them. These are the things that we normally tend to avoid, rejecting permanent relationships and trying to replace them with spiritual practices.
