PYRAMID OF AWARENESS BY CONTORET
Awareness is a subtle spiritual category. The way to achieve it, known as transformation, goes through the physical existence of a human being. In order not to be boring when I talk about the spiritual and express myself in a simple language when I talk about Mindfulness, I will use different metaphors and give examples.
One's awareness is his ability to perceive himself as a part of the Whole. This is not an instantaneous state, but rather quite multi-level and multilayered, like a cake.
Primary realization of Himself involved in the Whole and, as a matter of principle, understanding of the existence of the Whole and its integrity is the first touch to understanding. We call this "awakening". You can compare this with an ordinary awakening in the morning: you are deeply asleep and suddenly wake up. What happened? Maybe someone woke you up? Did the alarm ring? ... No, this is the same case when for a long time the alarm clock has been ringing, somebody has already knocked the door several times, but you woke up by yourself.
From now on you are my reader. Of course, among other things, that by quantum leaps began to happen in your life. Now you are ready to talk about Mindfulness, reflect on it and even discuss it. I decided to offer you a topic for discussion: if awareness exists, then it can be measured and described but how?
And then I go even further and offer you an object for study. I bring to your attention a new tool with which you can measure and describe Mindfulness as a spiritual category in practical life situations. The same tool will gradually help us understand each other. I'm talking about the Pyramid of Awareness by Contoret.
When I talk about the Pyramid, the key concept here is the Conscious perception of self and the life around you, and the realization of yourself as part of the Whole One.
I will not start to draw. Imagine a pyramid.
Awareness is the objective ability of a person to perceive the World as a living creature and to realize its unique role in this World.
Consciousness is inherent in every person, but the measure of Mindfulness differs in levels. Let's call them Floors. The floors of Mindfulness are built into a pyramid. For simplicity of perception and practical use, the Pyramid of Awareness by Contoret has 12 Floors plus the peak of the pyramid, the 13th floor, the Light.
A first floor is a basic form of awareness, i.e. the presence of consciousness as such. Therefore, any person is there already at the time of his birth, at least on the first floor.
The twelfth floor, on the contrary, belongs to the realized and enlightened. No wonder right above it is the Light. In the history of mankind, there were not so many adepts from the Twelfth floor, among them are Jesus, Buddha, many prophets and messiahs.
Primitive consciousness lives on the lower floors of the Pyramid (from 1 to 4). Together with it, there live addiction, alcoholism, dependence on the media, the demands of bread and circuses. Awareness on these floors is so weak that the thought here is practically incapable of an independent manifestation in physical reality because it is not illuminated by Awareness (Light is only on the 13th floor). But this does not mean that only the bad ones live on the lower floors! Not at all! This is the bulk of the population of our planet. Look again at the picture of the Pyramid of Awareness by Contoret that you have visualized in your imagination. The four lower floors are much more massive than the top four. Accordingly, there is more space for people, events, and emotions. In its bulk, these are good people who obediently follow television advertising, actively protest, sincerely believe politicians. They are the main buying power and the electorate. They are easy to manage, and they are easily deceived. The higher your Floor is, the greater is the measure of your responsibility for the lower floors.
The middle floors (from 5 to 8) are the floors where awareness is already lightened so much that it accompanies the thought in its embodiment. At these levels, there are creativity, business, and science. These are the floors of multiple awakenings. The human moved in the first four subconsciously. Now his awareness is awakened and goes into the conscious movement phase up to the floors of the Pyramid of Awareness by Contoret. Human wants to create! It's time for a change and movement.
The upper floors (9 to 12) belong to the most conscious people. The awareness of Life no longer leaves their thought. On these floors, for example, lived the wise King Solomon and Mother Teresa. People from the upper floors realize themselves as a part of the Whole, where everything is equally important: from the wings of the butterfly to the military conflict. On these Floors, it is obvious that in the quantum universe there is no place for chance. That thought has an invisible, but almighty power, and that each person is responsible for his thoughts no less than for his deeds.
Each level of the pyramid has its own instruments and decorations. On the lower floors, they drink Coca-Cola, on the upper floors, they drink water with prayer. Chaos is on the lower floors, on the upper - Beethoven. At the bottom - we swear, on top, we cannot because we understand the global responsibility for every word that we broadcast.
Accordingly, with the change in the number of stores, the basic elements of physical reality also change. And with them are changing and ways of communication, views, hobbies and the houses where we live, and the objects that surround us. I believe that almost everyone who has read this line realizes that energy is at the heart of everything. Any material object is just a manifestation of the transformed information. The simplest example is water: it is ice, and in an instant, it has evaporated.
Conscious from the Eighth Floor is not better and not worse than realized from the Second. Nonetheless, it is the fact that they are not alike. They are different in relation to themselves, to the world, to situations. Understanding who are you and what is your floor gives you a practical opportunity to establish relationships with people around you: with children, parents, colleagues, partners and with neighbors. It helps to learn how to smile people on the street, learn to love people. But most importantly, it helps to establish relations with oneself.
All human life is a movement along the Stages of the Pyramid of Awareness by Contoret, often from the bottom to the top, but sometimes it happens vice versa. Each of the Floors of Mindfulness has its own decoration, its values, and its leaders. Conjugate floors often mix up, interact and cooperate. Floors, that are separated by a large span, practically do not touch and do not intersect. The difference in the awareness of people from these floors makes their way of life, aspirations, and desires very different, and their life values - far and incomprehensible.
Pyramid of Awareness by Contoret is a real tool that describes Mindfulness as a measuring spiritual category. XXI century is very different from the XIX century, because of a prominent spiritual awakening of mankind. It also makes corrections to the set of human assessment tools that we have been applying to ourselves and to people around us for a long time: the Maslow pyramid, Dilеs pyramid, Human Design, and others. It is time to measure and evaluate spirituality through the category of Awareness. For this, the Pyramid of Awareness by Contoret is designed.
