MEDITATION PRACTICES AND REFLECTIONS. PART 1

The objective of meditation

There is no magic in meditation. This is just a specific exercise, training and no more. The goal of meditation is not to “open the third eye” or to “comprehend the absolute.” The goal of meditation is a healthy body and a mind, calmness, harmony, balance and happiness. All of these are so scarce in our busy time.

The first group of examples is mobile applications that motivate, whenever its possible, to focus on their internal state throughout the day. These are applications for meditation, a growing amount of meditative music, brain training, increasing concentration and much more for different tastes in a game form. A good example is a Human Design. These are all tools that enable meditation, relaxation and awareness during the working day, during a break, in transport, whenever you have free time.

INTRODUCING MEDITATION TO PUBLIC SCHOOL. EVIDENCES OF MENTAL AND EMOTIONAL BENEFITS. PART 1

In today's article, I'd like to feature meditation applied to children. If you are familiar with meditation or have ever tried to meditate, you know that it does not take long for a mental chatter to get loud. And if you keep trying to get rid of these thoughts, they might become even louder. We are currently living in a constantly transforming reality where information flows really quickly. On a daily basis, both in visual and verbal form, we are bombarded by messages. For a mature psyche, it is possible to learn how to ignore aggressive informational attacks.
