Over the past two thousand years, humanity has successfully advanced in the direction opposite to itself. The human perceives light through its external manifestations and has completely forgotten how to listen to the world through inner sensations. This has gone that far that in the 21st century the ability to listen to oneself is considered an exotic skill, and “learning to listen to oneself”, “understand oneself”, “observe oneself” became a fashionable trend. We just don’t know how to do it. We are spiritual entities living in the material world, who have forgotten that fact!
Are intellectual products bad? Not at all! They are important, necessary and even needed! But now we are talking about balance. We already have so many products for the development of the intellect, for training the memory and activating the brain, that we started playing with them like little children. This led to the fact that our civilization is seriously advanced technologically and technically, but it is unhappy inside. This is an imbalance of matter and spirit within man!
Before moving further, with the danger of misunderstanding, let's honestly and clearly examine the issue of what is spiritual development.
So, we are spiritual entities living in the physical bodies in the dual dimension. Our life is composed of two parts: external and inner, material and spiritual. These parts aspire for balance. We feel the balance as a state of happiness, peace, and well-being. Everything seems to be clear at the moment because it is very simple.
A. Meditation is a journey inward to rediscover yourself. To meditate means to devote some time to calm reflection in silence, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. At this time we are able to concentrate on the main thing.
